A day in the life

Hey there!

Today is a great day isn't it? I had SR call me early this morning so that we could get in a super early workout. Got up, slipped into my workout attire, ran downstairs and drank 1/2 cup of coffee sweetened with just a touch of agave nectar, grabbed my water bottle and headed upstairs to push play to Burn intervals.

45 minutes of intense, heart rate blasting, interval cardio filled with endurance moves using light weights with tons of reps done in between the interval's. Wow, what a workout. We both were a red faced sweaty mess when we finished. But we finished! And boy did it feel great to get that blood pumping early in the morning. Didn't do the ab workout because we did that after Monday's burn circuit workout.

I waited about 35 minutes after the workout before fueling up with meal number 1. Can you guess what it was? Yup, another green smoothie. Delish! I'm actually starting to crave those bad boys. Ice, unsweetened almond milk, protein powder, banana, wheat germ, ground flax seeds, big ole handfuls of spinach and a tiny squirt of agave. Meal fit for a queen!

Meal number 2 was Non fat cottage cheese with fresh blueberries. I just love CC, just wish it didn't have so much sodium in it. Meal number 3 was yummy yummy in my tummy..Ezekiel sprouted wrap stuffed with marinated grilled chicken strips, diced cucumbers, slices of bell pepper, big handful of baby spinach, couple slices of juicy sweet mango, and a dollop of plain greek yogurt. Here are a couple pictures of it in all it's goodness.....

Meal 4 will be greek yogurt with vanilla protein powder and I'm still not sure what dinner has in store for me yet...have to think on it a bit more.

Last night I grilled up some delicious 99% fat free Turkey black bean burgers for dinner. They were so good and yummy. Popped them onto an ezekiel hamburger bun, top with juicy slices of fresh tomato, slice of sweet onion, a dollop of non fat greek yogurt and a little sugar free ketchup....Mmm,Mmm good! Even PT liked it and he is a big red meat eater.

I swear, I am having so much fun eating this way, and I can honestly say I am enjoying the journey and I'm embracing it as it comes.

Keep it clean!
